With a fully equipped kitchen, views of Apple Lake, and high speed internet you may not want to leave the cabin, but when you're ready Highlands has plenty to offer. Dining, shopping, hiking, skiing, golfing, and fishing are just some of the ways to enjoy the area.

Hiking and Trails

There's a wide variety of trails in the Highlands area, great for beginners and experts alike. We highly recommend you get the AllTrails App or visit their website:

Golf and Recreation

There are many mountain courses in the Highlands area. Most are private clubs. Sapphire National is the only public course in the area. In addition to golf the Town of Highlands offers tennis courts, a fitness center, pool, and ice rink.

Skiing and Tubing

In the winter be sure to check out skiing in Sapphire Valley and snow tubing at Scaly Mountain.
